What is Obagi Blue Peel Radiance?

It is a superficial salicylic acid based chemical peel that helps to improve the appearance of your skin. The solution penetrates into the skin, removing dead skin cells. This increases your cellular turnover and leaves your skin smoother, tighter and brighter.

How many treatments will I need?

For best results I normally recommend a course of 4-6 treatments 2-4 weeks apart. This will be discussed in your initial complimentary consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Initially after the treatment there may be some mild redness, however this normally goes resolves very quickly. You may experience some dryness, flaking to the skin for several days after the treatment. For most people the application of a moisturiser will help, I usually recommend using Obagi Hydrate. It is advised that you avoid using exfoliation products, alpha and beta-hydroxy acid products, retioids, retinols and facial products containing fragrance for one week after your treatment. A daily SPF of at least 30 is essential.
